Officers arrested a 21-year-old man and two teenagers aged 15 and 16 following a 999 call to reports of three people with weapons outside a house in West Street.

The incident came just days after Chief Constable Nick Adderley revealed one of his officers was nearly killed by a raging thug trying to strangle him during a disturbance in Corby — but was saved when a colleague Tasered the attacker.
