Stolen car crashes into Wellingborough house

A house in Wellingborough suffered structural damage when a stolen car crashed into it at around 2.40am this morning (Monday).

The car, a BMW believed to have been stolen, caused structural damage to the house in Norman Way, Wellingborough, when it crashed into the property in the early hours of this morning.

No one in the house was injured in the incident.

The occupants of the vehicle fled the scene before officers arrived.

Northamptonshire Fire service attended the scene and isolated the gas and electrics to the property before leaving the incident with Northamptonshire Police.
