A Northampton 64-year-old has pleaded guilty to a series of sexually inappropriate acts against a teenage girl.

A Northampton man has pleaded guilty to attempting a series of sexually inappropriate acts against a teenage girl.

David Brown, of Northwood Road, has admitted to sending a series of offences that took place over a period of eight months in the late 2010s.

At Northampton Crown Court yesterday (March 10), the 64 year old pleaded guilty to four counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and four counts of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity.

He also admitted two counts of attempting to engage in sexual activity with a child and two counts of making indecent photographs of a child.

He is expected to be sentenced next month.
