Staff at a store in Sixfields Retail Park in Northampton were threatened with violence after a man took a bottle of gin and left without paying.

The robbery took place at the M&S Simply Food store between 6.20pm and 6.35pm on Monday, April 5.

Police officers have released a CCTV image of a man, who they believe may have information about the robbery.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "Officers investigating the incident believe this man may be able to assist with their enquiries and are appealing for him or anyone who may recognise him, to get in touch."
