Seven arrests in connection with Kettering and Corby crime spree following aggravated burglary at Weldon supermarket
Detectives in the north of the county have arrested seven people in connection with a series of offences in the Corby and Kettering area.
The alleged offences, which include robbery, burglary, handling stolen goods and vehicle theft, have been committed at commercial premises across the two towns over the past five months.
All seven people were arrested following an aggravated burglary at a supermarket in Weldon, which occurred at about 6.50am on Monday (January 5).
A 39-year-old Corby man has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle which has resulted in his recall to prison, along with a 29-year-old man from Corby.

Two men aged 38 and 29 and a 36-year-old woman – all from Corby – have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Two men aged 34 and 42 remain in police custody at this time.
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Peters of the North CID Team said: “A lot of good work and determination has resulted in these arrests but we will not let our foot off the gas.
"The investigation continues and we remain committed to bringing everyone responsible for these offences to justice.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to not only thank the members of the public who have so far assisted us with this investigation, but we would like to reassure our communities that we will always act on information provided to us.”
