Rushden man admits child abuse image offences

He will be sentenced next month

A man from Rushden will be sentenced next month after admitting child abuse image offences.

Simon Wagstaff, 49, appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court on Thursday (June 18) charged with three counts of making indecent photographs of a child.

Charges said police found 43 category A images - the most severe - 12 category B images and 111 category C images and Wagstaff pleaded guilty.

Magistrates granted Wagstaff, of Windmill Road, unconditional bail ahead of his next court appearance.

He will be sentenced at Northampton Crown Court on July 16.
