Rothwell home burglary haul included 'significant amounts of jewellery'

Valuable jewellery and designer items have been stolen during a burglary in Sharman Way, Rothwell - the property's CCTV control box was also taken.

The haul included distinctive gold braclets of a traditional Chinese design.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "Sometime between 6.45pm and 11pm on Friday, December 4, the offender broke into the property and stole significant amounts of jewellery including Swarovski, Links of London, Forever Diamonds and two traditional Chinese gold bracelets – one for a girl and one for a boy.

"The property had been searched and a CCTV control box stolen.

"The offender is described as a white man and wearing a light grey hooded top."
