Rothwell attack leaves man with head injuries

A man was taken to hospital with head injuries after he was punched in Rothwell.

The victim, aged 19, was punched during the assault near Market Hill just after midnight on June 13 (Sunday).

A police spokesman said he was taken to hospital but has since been discharged and is making a recovery.

The spokesman said: "Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with info should contact us quoting ref 21000327056."
