The 59-year-old victim was punched outside The Hart of Duston in Harlestone Road, on Saturday night between 10.45pm and 11.15pm.

The offender was described as a white man in his mid-to-late twenties with a stocky build.

He was about 6ft tall with short, dark, receding hair and he was wearing a navy-blue bomber jacket.

He was accompanied by a woman, who police say possibly “facilitated the assault by isolating the victim.”

The woman was in her early 20s, about 5ft 6 inches tall with a slim build and dark-blond shoulder-length hair. She wore a white-trimmed jacket and jeans.

Both had local accents.
