Lead investigator, PC Tony Abbott, said: "Reece Fuinns is a prolific burglar and the fact he is now in prison undoubtedly means that further burglaries will be prevented.

"Burglaries significantly affect the wellbeing of the people whose properties are broken into. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their homes and burglars completely violate this right."

Northamptonshire Police has dedicated burglary teams onboth sides of the county and remain determined to bring offenders to justice.

Fuinns was caught as part of Operation Crooked, the Northamptonshire Police campaign to reduce burglary, which is one of the force's seven policing priorities.

PC Abbott added: "Finally, I would like to pay tribute to the detectives on the Burglary Team North, for ensuring Fuinns is now safely behind bars.

"I hope he takes the time to reflect on his crimes in order to make better life choices when he is released."
