Today officers confirmed they were still jointly investigating the two incidents in the past two weeks, but that they are not currently linking them to any previous assaults.
After this week's incident police carried out door-to-door enquiries in the area and local people said there was high police presence.
In the latest attack on Tuesday, a woman was assaulted by a man who grabbed her from behind and pushed her to the floor before she managed to get away.
