'Potential Wellingborough rave' leads to police appeal

A rave which potentially may be held tomorrow (Friday) in the Wellingborough area has prompted a police appeal.

Officers say the unlicensed music event is likely to be held on the outskirts of the town or one of its surrounding villages.

They're appealing for anyone who sees or hears anything suspicious, which they believe could be linked to a rave, to contact them.

A force spokesman said: "Should you see what appears to be a large gathering on yours or another person's land, please remember to stay safe and call police rather than approaching the individuals yourself."

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident 88 of May 13, 2021.
