A pony has been stolen from her field in Thurning, East Northamptonshire.

Jay, a 20-year-old black cob mare who is 14.2 hands high, went missing from her field on Winwick Road and police believe she has been stolen because there have been no reported sightings since Jay disappeared.

Officers are now asking for anyone who saw Jay in her field between 9am on Friday, May 15 and 5am the following day, Saturday, May 16, to contact them.

Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area between those times.

Anyone with information or who knows the whereabouts of Jay should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
