Police tape off Kettering street

Police are at the scene of a major incident in Kettering tonight (Monday).

At least 10 uniformed officers and four plain clothes police officers are in Russell Street with a police cordon in place.

A grey screen has also been put up across part of the street.

One resident nearby said: "We didn't hear anything but we heard the air ambulance.

"I saw something on Facebook that the police had put up a white tent and I said "that's our street"."

Another neighbour nearby said they saw a woman being given emergency treatment at the scene.

Northamptonshire Police has been contacted for further information.
