Police 'smash' another cannabis factory in Rushden

Officers have raided another cannabis factory in Rushden.

The cannabis plants were discovered after a warrant was executed in Wellingborough Road, Rushden, at about 10am yesterday (Tuesday).

Tweeting after the raid, the East Northants Policing Team said they had 'smashed' another cannabis factory in the town.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "Four rooms full of plants were located, totalling about 60 plants.

"Ndue Biba, 23, of Tottenham, London, has been charged with producing cannabis in connection with this incident.

"He will be in court this morning."

The raid comes as Northants Police is carrying out its 100 Days of intense police activity focusing on crimes including serious organised crime, sexual violence, domestic abuse and child exploitation.
