Police on the hunt for former Northampton man accused of raping a woman in Milton Keynes
He allegedly sexually assaulted and raped a woman in a residential parking area after asking her to ‘take part in a survey’.
Police are searching for witnesses after a man - originally from Northampton - tricked a woman into getting inside his car in Milton Keynes before driving her to a residential parking area and then raping her.
This incident took place on Saturday (February 6) at around 5am when a woman - in her twenties - was approached by a man in Newport Pagnell Services.
The man asked her to sign up to a website dating service, which she refused to do. The man, however, was persistent and eventually got her to agree to participate in a survey. This led to her getting into the man’s car at around 7am.

The offender then drove her a short distance to a residential parking area in Pennycress Way where he subsequently sexually assaulted and raped her.
The man is described as an Asian man in his late twenties to early thirties, who referred to himself by the name Adam. He has brown eyes, black hair that was shorter on the sides and longer on top and a messy beard and he wears glasses.
The offender spoke with a British accent and told the victim that he lived in Mayfair but he was originally from Northampton.
The car driven by the offender was a silver People Carrier with a cream fabric interior.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Christina Bradley, of Milton Keynes CID, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened, to please come forward.
“I would also ask any motorists who were in the area to check dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could assist our investigation.”
