Police launch investigation after man damaged a vehicle with a baseball bat in Northampton

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man damaged a vehicle on Thorpe Road, Northampton between 3:45pm and 4:15pm on Saturday September 26.

The male offender drove into Thorpe Road, got out of his car and used a baseball bat to damage a white BMW 6 Series.

As a result of this incident, a large dent and scratch was caused to the driver’s door. The offender then proceeded to get back into his own vehicle and drive off towards Delapre Crescent Road.

The offender is described as a white man in his mid-thirties, five foot and nine inches, of a stocky build and wearing a red and white top.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage of the offender damaging the white BMW car.”
