Detectives revealed the 19-year old was sat on a bench in the car park at Sywell Country Park after walking her dog when a dark van stopped next to her.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "Fortunately the woman’s father drove into the car park in Washbrook Lane to pick her up and she was able to walk away while the vehicle drove away at speed.

"The incident happened between 1.30pm and 2pm on November 5 when A dark-coloured van stopped next to the woman.

"One man got out, approached the woman and asked her name. He then told her to get in the vehicle.
