Police hunt man in a beanie hat after 70inch TV stolen in raid on Wellingbrough shop

Detectives are looking for a thief with very big arms after a monster 70inch TV was among a haul of electrical goods stolen from a Wellingborough shop.

Mobile phones, laptops, a bike and more TVs were also taken during the break-in carried out in Great Park Street late on Monday night or in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said officers are appealing for witnesses who were in the area between 11pm on Monday and 5am on Tuesday, adding: "The suspect is described as a white man wearing a tracksuit top and bottoms, a beanie hat and a face mask.

"Anyone with information about the burglary or the items stolen — or has been offered any items for sale in unusual circumstances — is asked to call on 101 using incident number 21000244024."
