The victim is now recovering but officers looking into the incident believe the man pictured could help their investigation.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "The incident took place between 11.50pm on Saturday, February 22, and 12.30am on Sunday, February 23, when a 30-year-old man sustained a serious injury after a fight broke out inside the Ginza bar. He is now recovering from his injuries.

"Officers investigating the incident believe this man may have information which could assist with them, and are appealing for him or anyone who may recognise him, to get in touch."

Police say anyone with information can 101 using reference number 20000103123 — or contact Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
