Police hunt cyclist who 'exposed himself' in front of Northampton town centre bus stop

Police are investigatiing reports a man indecently exposed himself in front of a bus stop in Northampton town centre.

Officers revealed the male rode off along the Drapery on a black mountain bike after demanding a woman give him her AirPods — then exposed himself while standing outside Barclays bank.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "The woman was at a bus stop outside McDonald's when she was approached by the male on a bike who demanded her AirPods headphones.

"After she refused, he rode up The Drapery on his bike, crossed the road and cycled back down before stopping near Barclays Bank where he indecently exposed himself.

"The incident took place at about 11.50am on Tuesday (November 17) and we would like to hear from anyone who was in the Drapery at the time. Please call 101 using reference number 20000608273. Or, alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Officers say the man, who cycled off through the Osbourne Jetty alleyway towards Market Square, is described as being mixed race and thought to be aged between 18 and 22. He was about 5ft 8in or 5ft 10in tall, slim with facial stubble.

He was dressed all in black – hat, jacket, jogging bottoms, socks and adidas sliders with white stripes.
