Police helicopter above Rothwell was looking for Audi

The police helicopter was deployed above Rothwell last night (Thursday) to look for a car that failed to stop for police.

An Audi Q5 failed to stop for police last night at around 11.50pm near Rothwell.

The National Police Air Service helicopter was sent up to help look for the vehicle, which was later located in Castle Hill, Rothwell.

There was no-one inside and enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver.
