Local police have also been peppered with reports of the incident and PC Dave Lee from the Safer Roads Team tweeted today: "We are aware of a video circulating on social media around an incident in Sixfields car park yesterday and we are currently investigating.
"The driver has been identified and enquiries continue to be progressed. Thank you to everyone that has made us aware of it."
The incident came after the force tweeted begging people to "think very carefully" about whether journeys were essential — both in Sunday's heavy snow and during the Covid-19 lockdown.
