Police find 'Blue Car Lady' who helped officers catch their man

Police have found the public-spirited driver who gave two of their officers a lift to catch a suspect and are now working out how to say thanks!

Bobbies on the beat in Finedon were without wheels as they tried to track down a motorist suspected of failing to stop offences on Thursday (March 12).

But they did not need to call for some mobile back up as a light-blue car pulled over to offer a lift and help the help get their man.

We joined in appeals to help locate the helpful hero dubbed 'Blue Car Lady' and Northamptonshire Police later tweeted "Update: We've found her."
