A man is to appear before magistrates this morning (Friday, May 14) after police discovered a cannabis grow house in a quiet Kettering street.

Officers from Kettering Neighbourhood Police team uncovered the haul in Hazel Road in the town yesterday (Thursday).

They have charged a man in connection with the offences.

Hasan Sinaj, 29, of Hazel Road, is charged with production of cannabis and the possession of an illegal weapon.

He is due before Northampton Magistrates' Court today.
