Police were called to a sudden death in Corby today (Thursday).

Officers went out to a property in Stephenson Way in the town at about 1pm following reports of the sudden death of a man.

Eyewitnesses told the Northants Telegraph that up to seven police cars and two ambulances were in attendance just after lunchtime.

A spokesman for Northants Police: “Police officers were called to reports of the sudden death of a man at an address in Stephenson Way, Corby, at about 1pm today (Thursday, November 12).

“At the present time, we are not treating his death as suspicious and will be preparing a report for the coroner.”

A police presence remains in Stephenson Way this afternoon, with officers wearing gloves seen going into and out of Motherwell House, a Corby Council owned property.
