Northamptonshire Police were called to a building site in Lyvden Way, Corby at 9.30pm last night (October 13) after two men were seen to be acting suspiciously near some diggers.

When officers arrived with PD Walt, one of the two 35-year-old male suspects - upon seeing the dog - did not even attempt to run away.

The other suspect decided to try his luck and sprinted off to hide. PD Walt, however, successfully chased him down.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft. They still remain in police custody at this time
