PD Olly locates vulnerable missing person in Towcester

She is now safe and receiving support.

PD Olly received lots of praise after he successfully tracked a vulnerable person in Greens Norton, Towcester yesterday (November 26).

This followed after police received a report of a missing vulnerable woman in her twenties at around 4.20pm.

Officers were deployed along with a helicopter, drone and PD Olly to search for the woman.

She was eventually found one hour later in Greens Norton and she is now receiving support.

Northants Police Dog Section tweeted: “PD Olly has been at it again, today he tracked from a vehicle into woodland to locate a vulnerable missing person enabling them to receive the care they needed. #TheNoseKnows”

One person responded: “Excellent work, Olly, another life saved. #TheNoseKnows #TreatsForOlly”

Another person commented: “Good lad, Olly (and humans).”
