A man is in hospital after an early-morning street robbery on the Oakley Vale estate this morning (Friday, April 30)

He was attacked in Snatchill Close at about 7.40am.

Emergency services have been on the scene of the incident close to the Charter Court shops since they were called out just after the attack.

A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries but they are not believed to be life changing or life threatening.

Two men aged 30 and 52 have both been arrested and are in police custody.
