Northants police dog celebrates birthday by catching drunk driver

A Northants police dog is celebrating her third birthday today and to mark the occasion, she caught a drunk driver last night.

PD Kez was deployed to find the driver after they abandoned their crashed vehicle.

In a tweet, Northants Police Dog Section said: "Another one in the bag for PD Kez overnight.

"She celebrated her third birthday today with another prisoner after tracking from a vehicle which had crashed and locating the drunk driver some distance away.

"Well done Kez!"

Twitter users have been responding to the news by wishing PD Kez a happy birthday.
