The suspected burglar, a 20-year-old man, tried to play a dangerous game of hide and seek with PD Walt. Unfortunately for the offender, there was only ever going to be one winner. PD Walt found him sitting on top of a water butt at the side of a garage.

The offender was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary. He currently remains in custody.

A thorough search of the house that the offender allegedly tried to burgle revealed that it contained three bedrooms worth of cannabis plants. This collection was dismantled by officers.
