Northamptonshire man charged with alleged sex offences against a teenager after appeal for information

A Northamptonshire man has been charged with two counts of sex offences against a teenager following a police appeal over the weekend.

Ioan Cristian Moise, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Sunday (January 17) following an appeal for his location at the end of last week.

Now, the 28-year-old is set to appear at Northampton Magistrate's Court today (January 19) charged with two counts of intentionally touching a girl under the age of 16, knowingly entering the United Kingdom in breach of a deportation order and four counts of failing to comply with his notification requirements.

Detective Inspector Simon Barnes, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to commend the team in this case for their exceptionally hard work in securing these charges.”
