Murder investigation after Corby stabbing
Ian Little died last week
Detectives investigating the death of a Corby man have officially launched a murder investigation.
Ian Little, 31, was stabbed during an incident in Landseer Court at about 9pm on Tuesday, March 3.
He was in a critical condition at University Hospital Coventry but died on March 24.
A post-mortem examination carried out on Thursday, March 26, found he died of multiple organ failure as a result of a stab wound.
Today (March 30) police announced they have launched a murder investigation.
After the incident Roddi Stewart, aged 33 and from Corby, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and is currently on remand.
He is due to appear before Northampton Crown Court on Wednesday (April 1).
