Missing Mersey 15-year-old could be in Northampton

A teenage boy who has not returned to his Merseyside home for over a week, could be in Northampton, say police.

Martane Butler has been missing from his Merseyside home for over a week.

Martane Butler, aged 15, was last seen on Tuesday, May 10, in the New Ferry area of Wirral, near Liverpool.

He is described as white, 6ft and of medium build. He has short, curly brown hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion and speaks with a Liverpool accent.

He was last seen wearing a grey Northface tracksuit, grey trainers and a blue Northface tee-shirt.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: “Martane is known to frequent the Toxteth area and also has links to the Birmingham, Blackburn and Northampton areas.”

Officers would urge Martane, or anyone who has seen him since Tuesday 10 May, to call 0151 233 2321 or 101.
