Men seen hiding behind fence before Wellingborough burglary

Two men were seen hiding behind a fence before a burglary took place in Wellingborough.

Officers are appealing for witnesses following the burglary in the town on Sunday (June 28).

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "At 4.30pm, two men were seen hiding behind a fence near a property in Elsden Road and the lower panel of a side door of the property was removed.

"The men are described as 21 to 22 and both were wearing shorts."

Anyone who witnessed this or saw anything suspicious is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 and quote incident number 2000039104.
