The 27-year-old drove his white BMW dangerously, damaged a car's wing mirror and attacked three police officers.

He admitted driving dangerously, criminal damage and three counts of assaulting an emergency worker the following day.

But on May 20, the day after he was released, he entered a building in Silver Street, Wellingborough, with intent to steal and was hauled back before the courts.

Earlier this month magistrates jailed him for a total of 15 weeks and banned him from driving for 15 months.
