Man wanted in connection with Kettering fraud appears on BBC Crimewatch
A 46-year-old man wanted in connection with an alleged fraud in Kettering has appeared on BBC’s Crimewatch Live programme.
Jasvir Singh, who has links to Coventry, Solihull, Oldbury and Wolverhampton, is wanted on warrant for failing to appear before Northampton Magistrates Court in March 2024 to face a charge of fraud by false representation.
A spokesman for Northants Police said: “His alleged crime took place between 2018 and 2019 when a man was conned out of his life savings.
"Despite Singh being aware he is wanted, he has continued to evade police and appears to currently be working as a music artist under the alias Cobra Jatt.”
At the beginning of the month (March 4), Sergeant Michael Rogers appeared on BBC’s Crimewatch to appeal for information as to Singh’s whereabouts.
