Man threatened with a knife for £10 in Wellingborough

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was threatened with a knife in Wellingborough.

The incident happened just after midnighton Wednesday (October 28).

A man on a BMX wearing a balaclava approached another man and asked him for £10. When the man refused, the biker got off his BMX and threatened the victim with a knife.

The suspect demanded the man empty his pockets, and nothing was stolen.

The suspect is described by police as being in his early 20s, about 6ft tall, and was wearing a dark-coloured hooded top.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
