Man suffers facial injuries after being kicked and punched by teenage group in Corby

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a 27-year-old man was left with facial injuries following an attack in the Kingsbrook area of Corby.
Between 8pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday, September 30, the man was approached by a group of teenagers, aged between 15 and 18, as he walked across the grassed area in between the Cornerstone Methodist Church and Kingswood Primary School.

Hide AdA spokesman for Northants Police said: "After a verbal exchange of words, an altercation took place, which resulted in the man sustaining facial injuries after being punched and kicked by the group.
"He was later found lying in the street in Barnard.
"Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have captured the assault or the man in the area of Barnard, on either CCTV or dash cam footage."
Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 20000515165 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
