Man opens door to Corby house but flees after being disturbed during attempted break-in

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted burglary in Deene Close, Corby.

The incident took place at about 11am on Friday, September 25, when a man opened the door to the residential property, however fled after being disturbed.

At the same time, a white vehicle drove off along Thoroughsale Road in the direction of Studfall Avenue.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have captured the man or white vehicle on CCTV or dash cam footage."

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 20000504795 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
