A man was bitten on the leg by a dog when he was on a run in Bradlaugh Fields, Fulford Drive in Northampton on Saturday (November 21).

The incident took place between 6.50pm and 7.10am as the victim jogged past another man walking a dog when the canine bit him on the leg, causing an injury.

The dog walker is described as a white man in his mid-forties, six foot and of a medium build with short dark coloured hair and stubble. The dog is described as a light brown Great Dane.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “Officers are appealing for the dog walker or anyone who may recognise him or the description of the dog to get in touch.”
