Man jailed for assaults on Corby woman
A man assaulted a woman on the Kingswood estate in Corby twice in two days.
Thomas Gaffney – who also uses the alias Dean Gaffney – is now behind bars after appearing at Northampton Crown Court to admit two assaults.
The court heard that he had been at the woman’s home on the Kingswood estate on February 9 and 10 and while there, he had assaulted the woman on both occasions.
He was before Recorder Andrew Warnock to plead guilty and to be sentenced.

He was given 16 months in prison and a five year restraining order which bans him from going to the street that the woman lives in.
Gaffney, 52, has a long criminal history and has previously been before the court for criminal damage, theft and burglary
