Man has substance squirted in face in Corby 'acid' attack

A man has been assaulted in a Corby park in a possible ‘acid’ attack.

The incident took place at about 7.30pm on the green between Bonnington Walk and Holbein Walk.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "Following a call from a member of the public, officers are investigating an alleged assault on a man in Corby, on Friday, May 20, where an unknown substance is said to have been squirted in the man's face.”
