Man critical in hospital with stab wound after incident in village near Northampton

A man in his 50s is in a critical condition in hospital after an incident in a village near Northampton.

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said: "Police officers were called to an address in East Haddon at 12.15pm yesterday (Tuesday, March 23) to reports that a man had sustained a stab wound.

"The man, who is in his 50s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

"A woman has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody," the spokeswoman added.
