Man bottled and another left with slash wound in Corby street brawl
Four people have been arrested
Four people have been arrested after a street brawl which left one man with a slash wound in Corby yesterday (Sunday).
Police and paramedics were called to Elizabeth Street after the incident at about 2.30pm.
A police spokesman said officers received reports of people fighting in the street near the Corby Candle.
One man had reportedly been bottled on the head with a glass bottle and another had a slash wound to his ear.
Nobody suffered serious injuries, the spokesman said.
A 24-year-old Leicester man, a 50-year-old Corby man, a 59-year-old Corby man and a 41-year-old Corby woman have all been arrested.
Yesterday one onlooker told the Northants Telegraph: “There were lots of people running.
”The police came and put one man in the back of their car and took him away very quickly.
”Another was sat on the pavement saying he couldn’t get up then he was put in the back of the ambulance in handcuffs.
”He seemed to have something tied around his leg.”
