Man attacked in Wellingborough by van driver armed with screwdriver and spade
A van driver armed with a screwdriver and spade pinned a pedestrian against a wall with his vehicle in Wellingborough on Saturday, July 11.
The incident happened between 1.30pn and 3pm in Doddington Road.

Hide AdA 41-year-old man was walking along Kingsway towards the Royal Oak Public House when the van mounted the grass and pinned him against the wall.
The pedestrian moved away from the van and a fight broke out between him and the van driver, who was armed with a screwdriver and a spade.
The man was left with a facial injury as a result of the assault.
A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said the offender was described as a white man, around 6ft tall, medium build and had short, cropped mousy blond hair and a neat beard.

Hide AdHe had tattoos on both arms and was wearing a dark blue t-shirt with an Atari logo.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
