Man arrested in connection with stolen BMW after police found him hiding in Northampton farm

A 38-year-old man has been arrested after police investigated a car theft in Towcester this morning (February 24).

A white BMW 5 Series was stolen from outside a property in Water Lane at around 3.30am. Deployed officers then located the vehicle in Courteenhall where PD Fama began to track a suspect.

PD Fama tracked for approximately two miles through fields and woods before arriving at a farm where she motioned towards a hay store.

Officers then found a man hiding behind some hay bales and subsequently arrested him in connection with the theft.
