Large knife and cannabis found in car that cut up unmarked police vehicle in Burton Latimer

A car cutting up an unmarked police vehicle in Burton Latimer led to the arrest of two people yesterday (February 25) after a large knife and drugs were found in the vehicle.

This incident took place at around 3.30pm in Kettering Road, Burton Latimer when the car was stopped after cutting off an unmarked police car.

The vehicle was searched and a 'large knife' was found under the driver's seat. Officers also discovered cannabis after searching both the driver and the passenger.

A 17-year-old boy and a 40-year-old woman were both arrested. They have since been released under investigation.
