Knifeman threatens couple in Wellingborough park
The incident happened on Tuesday
Police say a man with a knife who threatened a couple in a Wellingborough park may have been spotted by people walking their dog.
The couple had been walking in Croyland Park on Tuesday, February 16, when they were approached and threatened by the man with a knife.
Walking past towards Kingsway were another couple, who officers hope might be able to give vital clues as possible witnesses to the incident.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "At around 12.15am on Tuesday, February 16, a man and a woman were in Croyland Park when they were approached and threatened by a man with a knife.
"While this was happening, a couple with a small brown dog and a small black dog on leads passed nearby, walking along a footpath by the stream heading towards Kingsway.
"Officers investigating the incident are appealing for these witnesses to come forward as they may be able to provide vital information."
