He appeared to be concealing goods and was challenged by security staff at about 7.35pm.

But Jasionek, of HMP Peterborough, lashed out and pushed one security worker before using a snapped bank card to scratch the hand of another.

Last week Jasionek appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court having pleaded guilty to two counts of assault and a further charge of stealing electric razors worth £81.

Magistrates jailed him for a total of 10 weeks for the unprovoked attack.

He was also ordered to pay compensation of £50 to each security worker he assaulted.
